Jerusalem's annual Pride and Tolerance parade will march for the 18th time.
On Thursday, the 6th of June 2019, we will gather for the 18th Annual Jerusalem March for Pride and Tolerance. In the face of the hatred and fear that has led to violence and murder, we refuse to be silent. We remember our friends and loved ones Liz Troubishi, Nir Katz who were murdered in the "Bar-Noar" shooting in Tel aviv in 2009 and Shira Banki, who lost her life in a horrific hate crime in the Jerusalem March for Pride and Tolerance in 2015. In honor and in memory of the people who fought for us, we will march in Jerusalem for our rights with our heads held high. Despite these tragedies, we will march on with pride and demand our equal rights against all of those who try to stop and humiliate us.
We will march to declare Jerusalem has been our home and it is still our home. We will build our families and our houses in Jerusalem and anywhere else in the country, as we fight for safety and equal rights and against all forms of discrimination, hatred and violence.
Light will conquer darkness, this year in Jerusalem.
Come march with us!
